This 2/0 gauge SGX battery cable is designed for high-current battery and power distribution applications where heat resistance and durability are critical. It features a fine-strand copper conductor and a cross-linked (XLPO) insulation and jacket, providing improved performance in demanding environments.
SGX cable is rated for continuous operation up to 125°C (257°F). Many standard battery cables are limited to 105°C, which can be a limiting factor in high-load or engine-bay installations. The higher temperature rating helps maintain insulation integrity under sustained electrical and thermal stress.
