Our 2 gauge SGX battery cable is designed for medium- to high-current battery and power distribution applications where heat resistance and durability are important. It features a fine-strand copper conductor with cross-linked (XLPO) insulation and jacket, providing improved performance over standard automotive battery cable.

SGX cable is rated for continuous operation up to 125°C (257°F). Many standard battery cables are limited to 105°C, which can be a concern in engine compartments, equipment bays, or other elevated-temperature environments. The higher temperature rating helps maintain insulation integrity over time and supports reliable operation under sustained electrical load.
