This 4/0 gauge SGX battery cable is designed for maximum-current battery and power distribution applicationswhere heat resistance and durability are critical. It features a fine-strand copper conductor and a cross-linked (XLPO) insulation and jacket, providing reliable performance in high-demand environments.
SGX cable is rated for continuous operation up to 125°C (257°F). Standard battery cable is often limited to 105°C, which may not be suitable for high-load or engine-bay installations. The higher temperature rating helps maintain insulation performance and support long-term reliability.
