This 6 gauge SGX battery cable is built for moderate-current battery and power distribution applications where heat resistance and durability are required. It features a fine-strand copper conductor and a cross-linked (XLPO) insulation and jacket, offering improved performance over standard automotive battery cable.
SGX cable is rated to 125°C (257°F), making it suitable for installations in engine compartments and other higher-temperature areas. Compared to standard 105°C-rated cable, the higher temperature rating helps maintain insulation performance and extend service life.
